  We arrived in Memphis for Elvis Week. My Son-In-Law is a Elvis Tribute Artist,and had 2 preformances at Graceland. His second preformance was at check out time and the General Manager was gracious enough to extend us the late check out that we desparately needed. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and eager to please and make our stay as comfortable as possible.

  I was visiting because my son was getting married. My room was clean and the staff was VERY COURTEOUS!!!. I would stay here again. Please remember everyone has their own opinion. I personally enjoyed my stay VERY MUCH!!

• Overpriced for location, NOISE !!!

  If you stay here, you better get some earplugs! We found out (after our first night), that Memphis is a FedEx hub for both national and international flights. They start about 11pm and go all night! About every 20-30 minutes you WILL wake up to the roar of a jumbo plane coming in or taking off right over the hotel. Location is not good...an auto repair shop right next door, and next to that, a strip joint! Couple of liquor stores nearby and no eating places, besides Big Bubba's Chicken Shack. Hotel is clean, average rooms, a typical continental breakfast. It's about a mile from Graceland, the reason we were there. I'm not bashing this place, but if you have family with you, you may want to find another place. If you're a very deep sleeper, you may sleep well...the beds are comfortable and the room was clean. A much nicer and new area is about 10-12 miles east of town...we drove out there to eat. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Very nice out there and only about a 15 minute drive from Graceland.

  The room and whole inn looked very good.. just remodeled. pillowtop mattress was a nice added touch, too.

  We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The staff was wonderful. The desk clerk actually researched information about the Memphis fair and called our home with the information we needed. We were very Impressed that she took her own time to help us. Breakfast was wonderful, maybe some sausage or fruit would be nice, but there was alot to chose from. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will return. Everything was very neat and clean.
